While i'm at it. Another electronic minute. Made this patch really fast. No random! i use chaos. You can loop this sound. A modular is like sound lego. I like that. Relaxing. Well, not the sounds. . . Totally unedited sound.

This is a chord loop at 74 bpm it bounces back and forth between b minor and a major (key of a major). This sound was recorded using propellerhead reason 7. 1 via a motu 828 mkiii on 7/12/2014 the synth used is my korg polysix. Enjoy.

Guiro sound made of rim shot sound in behringer rd-8 with built-in high pass filter and retrigger with accent. Recorded with zoom h1 at 96khz and 24bits. Filtered of low range noise, tirmmed and normalized in edison in flstudio. Editing made sample 32-bit.

In this patch i’m using doepfer a-160 clock divider as a sub bas generator. Square wave out from doepfer a-110 to trig in on a-160. I guess a square wave makes it easier for a-160? /4, in this patch, out to uvcf. The sawtooth from a-110 to another nice filter - the wasp filter. The transient modules 8s sequencer gives us an 8 note sequence. A copy of the sawtooth melody is going to an analog delay stomp box from joyo and back to the synth. Three looping envelopes 2 on quadra and one pip slope. Forming a minimal rhythm. It's not stable. I make it even more unstable by injecting some cv to one of the envelopes. Maybe i injected a little to much? cool anyway.

Another sloth lfo test. I wanted to see - expected to see - cyclesrepeating. I don't. I have x controlling frequency and y controllinga filter. This recording is 5 minutes so there should be some repetitiveness. . . It's a regular sloth. . . I see 48 second cycles but they are not the same. Cool. Chaos.

3 cell quantussy patch. One cell acts as "controller cell". When the controller cell starts a new cycle a noise is heard defining the start of one cycle and at the same time the ending of the previous. Here we have three short cycle.

Zlob diode chaos. X output - pan left "alto voice"y output - pan right "soprano voice"z output - pan center "bass voice" (no cv input to vco)trigger out - controls noise. This is a recording that makes a chaos explorer happy.

My plan was to make a simple krell patch with some added timbre on the voice. The patch got bigger, fm-modulation and feedback in different form was added.

Test of how uoki-toki polivoks vcf handles sin-wave. I tune the module i use as sin-oscillator (intellijel μvcf) to ca 270hz. I connect it to uoki-toki polivoks vcf. I let a sin lfo sweep the filter, cv1 pot at ca 70%.

A little tune where uoki-toki polivoks vcf and intellijel μvcf are acting as vcos. I use one more sound source and that’s noise for the rhythmic sound. No sequencer. No midi. No keyboard. No over dub. Don’t know why i write this… it’s an nice experiment anyway.

Modular synth patch where two envelopes are involved in a chase. There could have been a rhythm, but i let chaos disturb theharmony. The square wave sounds are "distorted" in a wave rectifier. In this patch i use bastl instruments tromsø as comparator, sample and hold and oscillator (3 in 1). The cv is coming from nonlinearcircuits jerk off. The audio out from tromsø goes through nonlinearcircuits timbre!. Some delay from an analog delay pedal and reverb from doepfer spring reverb. One voice exploring a chaotic cv source. Testing/documenting my bartonmusicalcircuits (bmc21) full wave dual rectifier. "this is an all analog synthesizer module used to alter the timbre and create new harmonic content. " using the fact that it's a dual. 2 sinus waves through both of the rectifiers, through a filter and a little spring reverb.

Yep, i'm reading allen stranges "electronic music: system, techniques and controls". Interesting from start. This is a patch made with lessons from chapter 5. 20 modules involved. The ending is just modular freak-out. . . Whit the turn of one pot. . . Leading to some nice sound fx.

A krell patch and short sample and hold tones. Okay even the krell gets pitch cv from a sample and hold. The short sample and hold tones are panned with help of chaos. I use two nlc sloth lfos to control the panning. The speed of the short sample and hold tones are controlled by two mixed lfos from bmc 2lfosh. Reverb from spring reverb and delay from an anlog delay stomp box. Please suggest some tags i should have used. . . !.

Sounds from barton musical circuits dual logic going though doepfer a-101-1 vactrol vcf. Dual logic is modulated by bartons 2lfosh, via bastl-instruments tromsø. The vfc is also modulated by 2lfosh. The other sound is from alm pip slope in loop mode and modulated by a nonlinearcircuits single jerkoff, with an injection of cv from 2lfosh.
